This Charlotte homeowner had his front porch and garage coated recently, and wanted the same treatment for his driveway. Fed up with black tire marks from cars turning around at the end of his dead end street, he wanted a solution that would be less prone to this, and also easier to clean in the event it happened again.

Utilizing a fully polyaspartic system, the installation team was able to knock this out in a single day, providing the homeowner with a durable, UV stable, and chemical resistant driveway coating that will stand up for years to come.

System Details

System Type:  Full broadcast vinyl chips with polyaspartic topcoat

Color: Beige Haze 1/4″ Chips

This is a 400 square foot driveway in Charlotte, NC. The coating includes a primer coat of beige polyaspartic  applied at 10 mils with a full broadcast of Beige Haze flake blend . The floor is topcoated with 10 mils of UV stable polyaspartic for superior abrasion and chemical resistance.

When you are designing a commercial space, it’s critical to understand how the colors, features, furniture, and other details in the room will impact customer experience. The reality is that first impressions are set from the moment someone walks through the door. Every detail can contribute to a positive experience, including the flooring color and materials that you choose. A good design can help your business by influencing the person’s mood, behavior, and decision-making when they are interacting with your company. You want to ensure that each customer has a positive association with your business, which means that you need to choose the colors and features that will set a tone that aligns with your brand. Setting the Mood with Warm or Cool Tones What is the mood that you want someone to feel when they visit your business? The color tones will play a role in their experience: Warm Colors: You can create a sense of excitement, energy, and urgency with warm tones, such as reds, oranges, and yellows. These are the colors that are often used in entertainment venues, fast-food restaurants, and retail stores. Cool Colors: On the other hand, cooler tones promote a sense of calmness and trust. Examples of these colors include blues, greens, and purples. These are the hues that are often used in offices, healthcare clinics , and any type of luxury business. Neutral Colors: Another option is to use neutral hues, such as white, black, gray, and beige. These colors create a professional feeling and sophistication. Neutrals are often used for upscale businesses and corporate settings. The Best Flooring Products for Your Industry In addition to the colors and tones of your flooring, also consider how the patterns and brightness of the flooring have a psychological impact: Lighter flooring colors will make your business feel larger and more spacious. These colors can help customers feel at ease when they are in your building. Darker flooring colors create contrast and add an elegant touch. Even though they make the space feel a little smaller, it can be a benefit if you want to create a more intimate setting. Patterned flooring can be helpful if you want to promote a certain flow for foot traffic. The patterns in the flooring will encourage customers to move in a specific direction. Even though it might seem like a small detail, the design of your floor can have an undeniable impact on the overall experience in your commercial space. Flooring design isn’t only about aesthetics – it’s also a psychological tool that can impact how customers feel when they visit your location.
