Commercial Epoxy Flooring In Youngsville, NC

Our team recently had the privilege of providing an epoxy floor to a local and trusted company in Youngsville, NC.  Affordable Care Care, on U.S.-1 Alternate Hwy, would be adding a 3,200 square foot annex to their building and knew that they needed a durable floor that would last.  We were excited to talk through the options and help them pick the right floor for their application.

Ultimately, it was agreed upon that an epoxy floor with a vinyl flake system would provide durability, texture, and an easy to clean surface.  Examining samples, we were able to dial in the color and texture that was desired for the function of the floor.  The white, green, and blue flake matched the company’s color pallet and the texture offered an easy-to-clean floor while providing an anti-slip surface.

With the annex totaling 3,200 square feet of garage bays, we alotted our team five days for the installation.  The concrete was specified to be 3,000psi, but based on a scratch test and the builder indicating that the concrete mix had a four-inch slump, we estimated the concrete to be closer to 4,000psi.  The harder concrete required us to try a few different configurations of diamonds during the grinding process.

Our team was able to meet the deadline and finished on a Friday.  Having the weekend to allow the floor to cure meant that the next construction crews would be able to walk on the floor on Monday morning.
